MAY 17
Sight & Sound
As everyone arrives, we take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here. Let’s awaken our senses.
Find new appreciation for the wonders of the body and ways of seeing with artist Lily Morris from Creative Juice and professional contemporary dancers from 2Faced Dance.
Using mindfulness, breath and gentle stretching you will be led on a guided warm up by 2Faced Dance enabling you to focus in on your environment and start seeing and noticing differently. Then working with large sheets of paper and charcoal on the floor to enable freeing, playful and abstract movements, you will be guided through different drawing exercises and techniques to capture shapes and movements of the dancers, with a series of short and then longer studies to ease even tentative doodlers into new ways of seeing and expressing yourself without need for perfection.
The session will conclude with a short stretch and reflection together.

With live handpan and an all-vinyl ambient and experimental soundscape and textured field of sound this is no ordinary sound bath. This is Body Dreaming. Joining Ollie will be vocalist Holly George Samuels.

Touch & Scent
Together, we pause to consider our goals, hopes, and direction. This is about aligning with ourselves and with the journey ahead. This is a chance to reconnect with what brought you here—your questions, your hopes.
10:30 - 13:00
The aim of this workshop is to celebrate the miracle of touch. By taking our time to gently explore and re-sensitise your sense of touch, we will together tap into your nervous system and learn to co-regulate in a safe and relaxed way. We will weave in some nervous system physiology including breath work and play together; in understanding of the universal truth that the ‘here and now’ is where we truly meet ourselves and therefore the only place we can accept and celebrate not only our own divinity but that of those around us.
Lucia’s intention is to hold this space open for all who are curious and wish to regain a sense of playfulness, for you to feel safe to return to and connect your body and your sovereignty.
The essence of change is acceptance, accepting the very air in our lungs can bring us home, remembering in our tissues and cells the freedom that is inherently ours.
Through attention , presence and breath we will create new memories, unlock internal solid and safe foundations for self-experience and connection.
MINDFUL of our SOMATIC and SOULFUL SELVES.

Taste
Taste: Meg Lovell x 2FD10.30 - 13:30
Come with us for a guided foraging walk along the river Wye to the Bartonsham meadows nature reserve with herbalist Meg Lovell and (weather dependent) some gentle riverside yoga. We’ll walk together and stop along the way to meet the medicinal plants available to us in our local environments, what they contain, and why you might use them. We will talk recipes, preparations and best times to harvest.
Afterwards we will head back to the studios for a blind tea tasting. This is an opportunity to try some preparations of single herbs and experience how they smell, taste and feel in our body. This is a really interesting way to explore how herbs make us feel and then reveal the plants we have experienced – more often than not, this maps on surprisingly closely to the research and historical uses.
More importantly still, they are delicious.
This session includes lunch.
