A gentle pause from the pace of everyday life. Under the Dome is a series of joyful and relaxing seasonal Sunday mini retreat sessions inspired by the senses in the beautiful studio space of The Centre for Movement. Each session will be guided by knowledgeable practitioners who will help you engage, ground and reconnect through a spectrum of sensory experiences.

As everyone arrives, we take time to settle in, get comfortable, and begin connecting with those around us. The journey starts here.
Experience a relaxed, guided introduction to life drawing with artist Fran Whitfield and find new appreciation for the wonders of the body and ways of seeing. Working on large sheets of paper on the floor, with charcoal to enable freeing, movement driven interpretations, Fran will guide us through a series of short studies to warm up and get the creative juices flowing before one longer drawing session.

A session designed for deep listening, sensory exploration and connection. Join a live ambient sound journey guided by Bodydreaming founder Ollie Frost. Spend time to notice, to observe, to dream through the body. After the journey, we open the space for reflection, connection, and gentle integration.

JuneTouch & Smell
Together, we pause to consider our goals, hopes, and direction. This is about aligning with ourselves and with the journey ahead. This is a chance to reconnect with what brought you here—your questions, your hopes, your turning points—and consider how they’ve shifted or deepened.
Touch with Lauren Jones10:00 - 13:00
Rediscover the importance of touch and somatic experiences with Movement Psychotherapist and practitioner Lauren Jones. The session will kick off with partner work to loosen up and find our trust in our own bodies and others before relaxing into a somatic session learning various techniques for grounding and regulating the body and emotions through touch and pressure point release.

A gentle aromatherapy meditation session followed by an introduction to the benefits of aromatherapy before being guided through the creation of your own personalised oil blend to take home.
