TERMS & CONDITIONS

2Faced Dance aims to provide a high quality and positive dance experience to all those attending our classes and as such we ask that all participants adhere to the relevant terms and conditions below:

  • Correct footwear and clothing must be worn to all classes and at all times. No jewellery is to be worn in class and hair should be tied back off the face. All students should refrain from eating or chewing gum during classes. Mobile phones should be switched off.

  • 2Faced Dance may refuse entry to a class, for health and safety reasons, if the participant is more than 15 minutes late. If running late, participants should notify in advance by calling 01432 620032 before the class start time, so the relevant staff members can be informed.

  • We ask participants not to arrive any earlier than 15 minutes before class and leave the studio promptly once class has finished. There are stretching zones available for stretching post-session. We are only responsible for your child once they are in their class, not outside of these times.

  • Participants must have booked onto a session before heading to the studio and completed a form.

  • 2Faced Dance reserves the right to refuse admission and may also request for a participant to leave the studio before, during or after classes, workshops or events if it is felt that their presence is likely to cause nuisance, disturbance or threat to other participants, the venue or its staff.

  • 2Faced Dance has a zero-tolerance approach to any form of harassment or abuse towards its staff and/or other participants. 2Faced Dance reserves the right to refuse admission to classes on these grounds.

  • We prohibit filming and photography of artistic work, staff, members of the public and children in the building and during classes, unless consent has been given.

  • All class fees must be paid in full prior to the start of each term/half term or class (where possible). If you are struggling financially then please get in touch as you may be able to access a bursary place.

  • Fees are reviewed annually in July and we reserve the right to change fees giving no less than six weeks’ notice.

  • We do not offer refunds except on receipt of a doctor’s medical note.

  • All refunds must be received in writing. For all classes requests should be sent to finance@2faceddance.co.uk

  • We do not offer swaps or credit for missed classes (either drop-in or when enrolled) unless we have had to cancel a session.

  • In the instance of a teacher or musician requiring cover, we will provide suitable cover to enable continuity of the programme. We do not provide refunds or credits on these occasions.

  • For Children and Youth Dance Classes, if a young dancer can no longer attend, you must inform a member of the team at the earliest possible opportunity by emailing admin@2faceddance.co.uk

  • When enrolling onto in-person classes, you will either receive an email from the team with a link to our Participant Information Form or complete this form online. This must be filled out before attending sessions at 2Faced Dance Company as part of our Health & Safety and Safeguarding measures.

  • You must notify us of any changes to contact or medical information to enable us to keep up-to-date information for the safety of your child.

  • 2Faced Dance accepts no responsibility for any loss of property or personal injury during class times.

  • We are committed to the Safeguarding all children who attend classes and courses at 2Faced Dance. We have a safeguarding policy (available upon request) and require all children under 14 to be accompanied by an adult to and from Centre for Movement before and after class.

  • Young people enrolled on the Children and Youth Dance Programme must be dropped off and collected promptly. In the event of an emergency/running late, please contact our team on 01432 620032 who can inform the relevant member of staff.

  • We ask that any person feeling unwell takes responsibility for their health and that of others by staying at home.

  • By enrolling in our classes you are agreeing to take part in all end of term sharing’s or performances.

  • Term dates for the year can be found on our website.
