2FY provides unique training and performance opportunities for dedicated young people who show a particular passion and talent for dance.
We aim to develop & create young dancers with the facility, potential, attitude and drive to become leaders in the arts. Members of 2FY will work with the professional company developing a knowledge and understanding of a range of contemporary dance techniques, choreographic skills, performance skills and cultural experiences. A Youth Company member can expect to meet weekly and to dedicate time to both creative and technique classes, working towards a number of exciting performance opportunities, collaborations and residencies with guest choreographers. This immersive experience gives our dancers real life experience of the arts environment and sets them up to follow their passions into adult life. We have vast experience in helping young people develop the skills and confidence needed to have a future career in dance and the arts.

We hold auditions annually for company members. This years cohort 2023-4 is currently complete. Our next auditions will take place on Tuesday 9 July and Tuesday 10 September from 18:00 - 21:00
