Fiona Hay | Education Manager

Fiona trained through 2Faced Girls Youth Dance Company from 2004-2006 before undertaking her BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance & Multi Media at Bath Spa University graduating in July 2009. At university Fiona founded the first hip hop dance company where she gained teaching and performance skills which resulted in the company becoming a successful award winning dance group. She is passionate about choreographing and teaching innovative, original dance work, which fuses both hip hop, contemporary dance and media together. Fiona leads a number of the community dance groups and projects for hr1, including choreographing work for the final event. She is also a member of the semi-professional company and mentors the hr1 Apprentices.
