  • Marcia Edwards

Trained at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance graduating with a BA Hons in dance Marcia has worked as a professional dancer for Ace Dance and Music (Birmingham), State of Emergency (London) and Dida Dance Company (Norway).

She has collaborated with Motionhouse Dance Theatre and Dancefest in site specific projects and has choreographed performance pieces for the National Trust at Croom Court.

She has also worked alongside Diversity (Britain’s got Talent Winners) and George Sampson.

Marcia has taught in various schools colleges and universities around the country as a lecturer and choreographer for BTEC and HND Dance students.

Having led on Big Dance for Birmingham Marcia has extended her work by choreographing for Wire on behalf of Worcester city council producing dances that were performed at Mac (Birmingham) and Artrix (Bromsgrove).

Commercially she has performed internationally in Switzerland and Paris for many years.

Recently Marcia has taken professional dance auditions and taught African and contemporary classes for 2Faced Dance Company and Kidderminster College.

Currently Marcia is working for 2Faced Dance Company creating works both for the 2Faced Junior and Youth Companies.
